It Is Good . . . Really Good

I loved your book. It is a fresh

glass of water in this desert. When

I opened it,  I found such pure, wholesome joy I skipped lunch to read and fast. It is good . . . really good.

Drives the Clouds Away

I read a couple every night at bedtime. I find them relaxing and I can often go to sleep with a smile on my face. They push the worries away. Jerry is a master story teller.

Wake up Call

Reading Jerry Bullock is a wake up call to feed the past, present and future. His words spotlight wisdom and discernment of a balance of life. The Bible speaks to describe this talent: "A word aptly spoken is like apples of gold and settings of silver "

This site is mostly about my books Life's Like That, An Old Texan Looks at Life, Volumes 1 and 2. These two volumes are the product of thirty years of writing a weekly column for my home town newspaper, the San Marcos Daily Record, in San Marcos, Texas.

You could call them books of blogs. Each "blog" is about 500 words. They are somewhat faith-based but they are not preachy. Some are funny, some are serious. All have a message that can change your life.

You will meet my Uncle Nathan. He was a circuit-riding Baptist pastor who served in the Concho River country of west Texas in the late 1800s. There are many Uncle Nathan stories ... some of them are even true.

Come often and read a sample from these books.... I promise you will probably smile.
